The proposed amendment for the City of La Joya will affect the existing work plan in Year 23 (2010). A Public Hearing was held on February 6, 2012 at 6:00 p.m. and citizen participation requirements have been met. The proposed program amendment will not alter the project description for improvements on Military Park but will increase the amount of improvements on Military Park to include installation of a fence, installation of a sprinkler system, development of a baseball/softball field, development of a football/soccer field, walking trail/nature trail, professional services, testing services, materials, and related appurtenances as they pertain to project completion. The proposed program amendment will not affect the 2010 original budget. See attached detailed amendment.

Year 23 (2010):
The proposed program amendment to the Parks, Recreational Facilities line item will increase the scope of work to the Military Park project located on Garza and Military Road in La Joya, Texas. The new activities will include the installation of a fence, installation of a sprinkler system, development of a baseball/softball field, development of a football/soccer field, walking trail/nature trail, professional services, testing services, materials, and related appurtenances as they pertain to project completion.
