Urban County Program on behalf of the City of San Juan is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with FJW Construction for the Water/Sewer Improvements project in the amount of $248,337.00, utilizing City of San Juan funds and UCP Years 19, 21, 22, 23, & 24 (2006, 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011), Urban County Water/Sewer Improvements line item.

The bid opening was held January 18, 2012 and the lowest bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was FJW Construction. The project consists of water/sewer improvements on Oblate and downtown alleyways in San Juan, Texas. Please see attached recommendation by the project engineer. (Project’s Engineering Firm: R.
