Proposed Modulars will be located at the corner of 10th & McIntyre Sts. in the Hidalgo Courthouse Parking Lot west of the Annex Bldg. Modulars have been modified/customized to accomodate (5) Courtrooms.
 
b. Requesting authorization/approval to solicit/request proposals from awarded Job Order Contractors ( through County's membership and participation in various cooperative purchasing programs/association, etc.) for the: "Installation of Electrical, Plumbing, furnishings and any other appurtenances for Court Rooms) to be located-corner of 10th St. & McIntyre St. currently a parking area at the Hidalgo County Courthouse.

BACKGROUND

Modulars include same Wall Full Height to Conceal Roof Line and HVAC system has been modified from a regular Wall Hung Unit to a Pad Mounted Split System HVAC;

Proposal does not include for installation of electrical, plumbing, furnishings and any other appurtenances as may be needed for buildings to be fully operable.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:

Funding will be determined by CC decisions on lease/purchase or leasing of other property. If purchase option is approved by Court, funding will be obtained from CO's 2010 A & B budget, fund 1342.
