Requesting approval of a budget and program amendment for the City of Progreso to its Urban County Program FY 25 (2012) work plan. The amendment will delete Parks, Recreational Facilities line item by $40,000.00 and increase the Street Improvements line item and add the following streets: Martinez St., Arroyo Street and Maritza St. all streets located within Colonia Las Palmas, Obregon St., Pine Street, Oak Street, CPL JR. Becerra St., and S. SGT. SW Daily.

A Public Hearing was held on December 10, 2012, at 6:15 P.M. and citizen participation requirements have been met. The City of Progreso approved a budget and program amendment for Fiscal Year 25 (2012):

The proposed amendment will delete:
Parks, Recreational Facilities by $40,000.00

The proposed amendment will increase:
The Street Improvements line item by $40,000.00

The proposed amendment will add:
The following streets to its work plan: Martinez St., Arroyo Street and Maritza St. all streets located within Colonia Las Palmas, Obregon St., Pine Street, Oak Street, CPL JR. Becerra St., and S. SGT. SW Daily Streets for the reconstruction and paving of streets including but not limited to adjacent/abutting streets within the same general vicinity to include drainage, curb & gutter, sidewalks, paving and all related appurtenances such as engineering, testing services, advertisements as it pertains to project completion for a project already included in the 2010 and 2011 work plans.
