Requesting authorization to amend the Emergency Solutions Grants Program (ESG) contract with The Salvation Army of McAllen and Hidalgo County Urban County Program approved on September 28, 2012. The amendment would increase the current PY 2012 amount of $68,500.00 by $28,000.00 for a proposed total of $96,500.00.
BACKGROUND
Hidalgo County Urban County Program is requesting authorization to amend the existing contract with The Salvation Army of McAllen under the Emergency Solutions Grant Program (ESG) PY 2012. The amended dollar amount would increase the Shelter Operations activities. These funds were made available after another (ESG) sub-recipient forfeited their PY 2012 funding allocation. Further, this amendment does not change the scope of work.
