BACKGROUND
Judge Rodolfo Delgado, 93rd District Court Judge was initially designated as the Presiding Administrative Judge for the Board of Judges. On December 2012 Judge Bobby Flores, 139th District Court Judge, was selected to be the presiding Adminstrative Judge for calendar year 2013. Therefore, the supplemental pay allowance must be transferred from the 93rd DC to the 139th DC.
At the request of the new presiding Judge Bobby Flores, 139th DC Judge, the supplemental pay will be distributed between the Court Coordinator (slot 0002) and the Assistant Court Coordinator (slot 0004) in the amount of $1,500.00/ each. However, these employees currently earn supplemental pay from the DWI Court grant in the amount of $4,895.00/each. Therefore, applying this allowance requested will increase the total supplemental pay allowance for these employees to $6,395.00/each.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Funds for the transfer of supplemental pay allowance from the 93rd DC to the 139th DC in the prorated amount of $2,770.11 and related fringe benefit expenditures for slots 002 & 004, available as of 01/25/13. Pending approval of interdepartmental transfer.Additional funds in the total amount of $272.46 (includes allowance and fringes) will be transferred at a later day, upon collection of funds from the employee currently being paid.
