Presentation for discussion, consideration and  approval to publish/advertise a  Public Meeting/Hearing to inform the general public and give the citizenry an opportunity to comment on Hidalgo County's Notice of Intent to File and submit an Application for Federal Assistance through the United States Department of Agriculture's Texas Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant Program in connection with the purchase of sixty-one (61) vehicles  for the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office in an amount not to exceed two-million dollars ($2,000,000.00) with site of Public Meeting/Hearing at the Hidalgo County Commissioners Courtroom located at 100 East Cano, First (1st) Floor, Edinburg, Texas at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2007.

Notice of Intent to File an Application with United States Department of Agriculture's Texas Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant Program is required to be published in a newspaper ten days prior to the Public Meeting/Hearing taking place.

Proposed Publication date is Thursday, May 31, 2007 in The Monitor and placement on Commissioners Court agenda for Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at 9:30 a.m.
