BACKGROUND
Election Code: Chapter 19 Financing of Voter Registration related activities for the Election Administration Department. Funding is generated through the initial, canceled, and updated registration of voters in Hidalgo County. State funds disbursed under this chapter may be used only to defray expenses of the registar's office in connection with voter registration.
