BACKGROUND

Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office Accounts Payable Department received no notice from officer of towing service incured nor did the vendor forward an invoice for the service performed by them. (The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office wrecker was not in operating condition to be utilized in towing the department unit.)
