The Urban County Program on behalf of the City of Palmview is requesting approval and award of best and final negotiated contract with SAMES, Inc. in the amount of $ 39,495.00 utilizing CDBG FY (2013) Street Improvements funds ( La Homa Road Bridge Project).
BACKGROUND
SAMES, Inc. submitted a best and final offer for professional engineering services for a street improvements project calling for extending the roadway at South La Homa Road and tying into US Business Highway 83 to include a bridge over the existing irrigation canal owned by Hidalgo County Irrigation District #1. The city of Palmview is the owner of right-of-way where the street will be extended. SAMES, Inc. was the highest ranked firm by County Commissioner’s Court.
