Acceptance and approval to award job order contractor, Herrera & Hunt (awarded JOC through HCDE-Choice Facility Partners Contract #09-040JC-07) in the amount of $63,852.85 for repairs and replacement to existing security fencing inside Juvenile Detention Center located at 1711 N. Bridge St in Weslaco, Tx -Project #2014-423-OGG.
BACKGROUND
There has been several incidents that have prompted the replacement of the current fence from razor blade sharp fencing to a candy cane style of application above the current 10' hurricane fence located inside the premises of the Juvenile Detention Center. As per Commander De Luna immdediate action is required and application has been reviewed by project engineer Mr. Raul Sesin.
