Approval to release the County’s audited Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR), Single Audit, Management Letter for the year ended December 31, 2014 prior to acceptance by the Commissioners Court.
BACKGROUND
Copies of the County’s CAFR, Single Audit, and Management Letter are not released until they are presented and accepted by the Commissioners Court. However, the Single Audit has not been finalized yet so there is still no scheduled date for acceptance by the Commissioners Court. In the mean time, the County is in the process of issuing new debt and portions of the 2014 CAFR need to be included in the official statement.
