In accordance with the Hidalgo County Civil Service Commission rules, requesting approval to payout overtime hours to be worked by the Health and Human Services department Nursing staff who will participate in the collaborative “No Refusal Weekend” project, coordinated between the Hidalgo County District Attorney’s Office and Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office during Labor Day Holiday Weekend.

BACKGROUND
The “No Refusal Weekend” project will require Hidalgo County Health & Human Services nursing staff to offer clinical support during the Labor Day Holiday weekend.
The funding source will be provided by the DA’s Office Chapter 59 (HB 65) account. The staffing of the nurses will be coordinated between the DA’s Office and Health & Human Services Department
