Urban County Program on behalf of City of Alton is requesting authority to purchase bunker gear through Hidalgo County’s membership and participation with Buyboard approved vendor Casco Industries, (Buyboard Contract # 432-13) in the amount of $10,062.60 (quote attached hereto). There are no shipping fees. City of Alton UCP Year 28 (2015) Fire Station Equipment funds will be utilized along with City General Funds.
BACKGROUND
The equipment will be utilized by the Alton Fire Department for fire fighting purposes. Delivery is expected within 60 days of receipt of purchase order.
