BACKGROUND
The projects currently underway within the HOME Rehab Program will utilize all but $75,000 currently budgeted for activities within the program. The CHDO program currently has families waiting to be assisted that will benefit from the transfer of these funds by receiving assistance earlier than anticipated. As such, the UCP is requesting to transfer $75,000 from the HOME Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program to the Community Development Organization Program in an effort to ensure timely commitment of FY 2014 HOME funds.
