Requesting approval to increase the Urban County Program (UCP) HOME – Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program assistance cap from $60,000 to $70,000.
BACKGROUND
The UCP performs annual updates to their housing reconstruction cost estimates to ensure it receives competitive and reasonable bids. After compiling and reviewing recent costs estimates for three bedroom and four bedroom single family housing units, it was noted that the estimates surpassed the Rehab Program cap of $60,000. Therefore, the UCP is requesting an increase of $10,000 to its Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program assistance cap.
