The Urban County Program is requesting approval of a budget and program amendment for the City of La Joya. The proposed amendment is for Fiscal Years 26 & 28 ( 2013 & 2015) work plans. The amendment will add the 2014 Street Improvement Project to both fiscal years to allow the expenditure of available funds for project completion.

A Public Hearing was held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at the La Joya City Hall and citizen participation requirements have been met. The City of La Joya approved the amendment as proposed for funding years 26 & 28 (2013 & 2015). All funding will be utilized for the already environmentally cleared 2014 Street Improvement Project.

2014 Street Improvement Project includes:
Project consists of funding for the re-paving of various streets including but not limited to professional engineering services, material testing, advertisements, and related expenses as they pertain to project completion. Location: 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, Vela/Jackson Street, Peralez/Martinez Street, Gonzalez Street, Alaniz Street, and Elizabeth Street, La Joya, Texas.
