CAPTION
Urban County Program (UCP) is requesting consideration and approval of the following:
1. Resolution authorizing the submission of a 2016 Colonia Economically Distressed Areas Program (CEDAP) application in the amount of up to $1,000,000.00 and;
2. Authorizing the County Judge to act as the County's Executive Officer and Authorized Representative in all matters pertaining to the County's participation in the Texas Department of Agriculture's Texas Community Development Block Grant Program 2016 CEDAP Application.

BACKGROUND
This Resolution is required as part of the County's participation in the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Texas Community Development Block Grant Program fund application. The funds will be utilized for first time sewer services and benefit low to moderate income persons residing in colonias. Please see attached resolution.
