Discussion and approval to partner with the University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley on the Merck Foundation's Bridging the Gap Project with the primary purpose of assisting residents who have been diagnosed with Type II diabetes to provide support and education to those residents. The general goal is to improve health outcomes within our community residents. Participation is contingent upon funding.
