Subject to HB 1295 Compliance, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with 2GS, LLC dba Earthworks Enterprise in the amount of $221,702.00. UCP Year 27, 28 & 29 (2014, 2015 & 2016) City of San Juan Street Improvement funds will be utilized.

The bid opening was held on June 7, 2017 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was 2GS, LLC dba Earthworks Enterprise. Project consists of the repaving of several streets (Pullin Avenue, Hooper Avenue, Coconut Palm Drive and Salazar Street) including but not limited to adjacent/abutting streets within the same general vicinity, related appurtenances, professional engineering services, geotechnical and material testing, etc. Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance. Project engineering firm is Javier Hinojosa Engineering.
