Urban County Program (UCP), on behalf of Precinct No. 3 is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Saenz Brothers Construction in the amount of $952,250.00 for the Texas General Land Office Round 2, - Peñitas Drain Phase I (GLO Contract No. 12-406-000-6453-DRS-210068).
BACKGROUND
Bids were requested and received for Hidalgo County Precinct No. 3 - GLO Peñitas Drain Phase I flood and drainage improvements. Bids were opened at Hidalgo County Purchasing Department on August 2, 2017. After review, the project engineer Javier Hinojosa recommended Saenz Brothers Construction as the lowest responsible bidders. (See attached recommendation letter from Javier Hinojosa Engineering and a copy of the bid tabulations). Contractor: Saenz Brothers Construction Contractor Amount: $952,250.00
