Request approval of the Second Amendment to the 2015 HOME Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Program agreement between Hidalgo County Urban County Program and Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. (AHSTI) and approval of the addendum with AHSTI.
BACKGROUND
The 2015 agreement with AHSTI included the construction of a total of twenty-three (23) new homes for qualified families. At present, a total of 11 units have been completed and sold to qualified families. The remaining 12 units are under construction and should be completed within the next 12 months. As such, AHSTI has requested an extension to the 2015 CHDO Agreement from November 9, 2017 to November 9, 2018.
