BACKGROUND
The State reimburses the county for handling Title IV-E Child Welfare/Legal cases. The Revised Contract includes the corrected amount of the Federal Reimbursement from Title IV-E for two employees that were previously not included.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
The County matches 100% of all costs related to Title IV-E County Child Welfare Services. However, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services reimburses the county for part of the expenses when the county handles Title IV-E cases. Actual reimbursement is based on Eligible Population Rate (EPR) in effect for the county during the month in which expenses are incurred.
