Subject to HB 1295 Compliance, requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with Phoenix Fabricators & Erectors, LLC in the amount of $907,619.00 (base bid only). UCP Fiscal Years 27, 28, & 29 (2014, 2015 & 2016) City of La Villa– Water/Sewer Improvement and city funds will be utilized.

The Urban County Program has requested and received bids for the City of La Villa – Water/Sewer Improvements. LAZCAMREA dba Fulcrum Consulting Services prepared the specification packages and bids were received and opened at the Hidalgo County – Purchasing Department on February 14, 2018.   After review the project engineer recommended Phoenix Fabricators & Erectors, LLC as the lowest of three (3) qualified bidders. (See attached recommendation letter from Dan Campos, P.E., bid tabulation sheet, contract, certificate of liability insurance, HB 1295 form and copy of check).
