Requesting approval of Dealer Deputy Agreements between Hidalgo County and the following dealerships (subject to the dealerships providing bonds in the amount of $100,000.00 for each dealership and final legal review):

Transportation Code Sec. 520.0071. DEPUTIES states a county assessor-collector, with the approval of the commissioners court of the county, may deputize an individual or business entity to perform titling and registration services in accordance with rules prescribed and adopted in the Texas Administrative Code Title 43 Part 10 Chapter 217 Subchapter H.  Ron Hoover desires to act as an agent of the Tax Assessor Collector in the issuance of motor vehicle registration stickers and license plates.  Dealer agrees to comply with the WebDealer requirements of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles and will furnish and maintain any necessary equipment.
