Requesting approval of the revised Hidalgo County Urban County Program (UCP) Housing Assistance Guidelines for the Colonia Self-Help Center (SHC) Program. 

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) released amended rules relative to Hidalgo County’s SHC Program.  As such, the Urban County Program has amended the Housing Assistance Guidelines to comply with the new rules.  The guidelines include the program objectives, housing activities, property eligibility, condition requirements, improvements, thresholds, selection of applicants, and other requirements provided for the implementation and administration of the program.
