BACKGROUND
Final closure work is targeted for completion on Dec. 31, 2018. The landfill must operate under engineering guidance to monitor methane gas, compact waste, install final cover soil over waste in completed landfill cells and initiate landfill inspection and monitoring during the 30 yr. post closure period in accordance with the permitted plans.
