Requesting approval of a budget and program amendment for the City of San Juan FY’s 27, 28, 29 and 30 (2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017) work plans.
BACKGROUND
A Public Hearing was held on October 22, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. and citizen participation requirements have been met. The City of San Juan approved the program amendment for its FY’s 27, 28, 29 and 30 (2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017):
DECREASE the Senior Service line items for Fiscal Years 2014, 2015 & 2017 and ADD funding to the Street Improvements line item. New project description is being incorporated for all fiscal year annual action plans in order to utilize the surplus funding in each respective year. The scope of work includes the following: reconstruction of several streets to include but not limited to adjacent/abutting streets within the same general vicinity and all related appurtenances. Other expenditures will include professional engineering services, surveying, geotechnical and construction material testing fees, etc. Locations: 12th Street (from Veterans Blvd. to Miguel Hidalgo), 13th Street (from Veterans Blvd. to Coil Dr.), Miguel Hidalgo Street (From 13th St., to end of road), Doe Street (From 13th Street to end of road), and Coil Dr. (from 13th Street to end of road), San Juan, TX 78589. All streets have been environmentally cleared and funds have been released by HUD.
