BUDGETARY IMPACT:
STATE FY 2019The County matches 100% of all costs related to Title IV-E County Child Welfare Services. However, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services reimburses the county for part of the expenses when the County handles Title IVE cases. Actual reimbursement is based on Eligible Population Rate (EPR) in effect for the county during the month in which the expenses are incurred. The reimbursement is then receipted in a General Fund revenue account number (9-1100-331-12-360-001-0-000).
