Presentation for the purpose of award the responsible vendor, SPI Venture, LLP submitting the sole best/lowest bid [meeting all specifications/requirements] including approval of contract document for the project titled: "Lease Office Space in Starr Co.- Rio Grande City:, through RFB No.: 2019-004-02-20-SGS, for Hidalgo County WIC Program.
BACKGROUND
1. This vendor has provided this same space, square footage at the same rate since 2011 for the WIC Program;
2. As per WIC Program staff, new letter of approval of sq. ftg. rate will only change if the price goes up, thus the letter attached is sufficient as approval to accept the sole bid;
3. Contact with real estate firm, confirms that downtown RGC buildings are going to be moderate to old conditions as opposed to new construction that would increase pricing. Thus the average range for such office space would be $1.00-1.50/sq.ft. would be acceptable.
