3. Requesting approval of Statement Supporting Submission of the Application document and for the County Judge to sign it.

BACKGROUND

Start Date and Length of Grant Contract Period: The grant contract period is up to two years from September 1, 2019 through August 31, 2021, subject to and contingent on funding and/or approval by the OAG.

No Match is required. Additional funding for salaries and fringes will be required from other funding sources.

Minimum and Maximum Amounts of Funding Available are subject to change as stated in the application kit. The minimum amount of funding for all programs is $20,000.per fiscal year. The maximum amount is $42,000 per fiscal year. Currently this grant funds partial salaries, $42,000, per fiscal year, for one (1) Victim Assistance Coordinator. Remaining Salaries and Fringes are paid from the District Attorney's Criminal DA General fund Account #9-1100-412-00-080-002-0-XXX.
