A. Approval of Certification of Governmental Entity Participation for Hospital Affiliates on behalf of the Hidalgo County
B. Approval of Affiliation Agreements  by and between Hidalgo County and the following affiliated hospitals:
1. Doctors Hospital At Renaissance
2. Mission Hospital Inc.
3. Knapp Medical Center
4. Rio Grande Regional
5. McAllen Hospitals LP

C. Discussion and approval for County Judge to sign letter to HHSC

HHSC has previously allowed providers/governmental entities to utilize existing affiliations in the instance where a governmental entity is now administering an LPPF. In order for HHSC to complete required federal and state reporting, it has been determined that each LPPF must be treated as a unique entity with its own affiliation agreements and certification forms. Consequently, we will need updated affiliation paperwork reflecting the LPPF as the governmental entity. Additionally, the LPPF will need a TexNet Account for the LPPF that is separate from any other governmental entity’s account.

The due date for affiliations for the Uncompensated Care program is July 15, 2019.  Information must be submitted to RAD_UC_Payments@hhsc.state.tx.us. HHSC is unable to grant extensions to this deadline.
