Discussion and approval to add preventative dental services to the County Indigent Health care Program - Level 2 Program.
BACKGROUND
Preventative Dental Care:
These services must be medically necessary and provided by a Doctor. The county may require prior authorization. Items covered are:
2 routine dental exams per year, 2 routing dental cleanings per year, 1 set of x-rays per year, and the least costly service for fillings.
Services Effective once the RFQ is approved by CC and advertised. Dental providers must submit RFQ# 2019-291-12-18-HGO to particpate.
