Requesting approval of Resolution to designate Urban County Program Interim Director as Certifying Officer Designee for Environmental review procedures for entities assuming HUD Environmental responsibilities (CDBG, HOME, ESG, COLONIA, TDHCA, TDRA, GLO Program and etc.)

Prior to obtaining Annual Funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the County’s Urban County Program must comply with 24 CFR Part 58 of the Federal Regulations. These Regulations provide Guidance on the procedures and time periods necessary to comply with public comment periods.
 
The Urban County Program is requesting that such Designation be made to the Urban County Program Interim Director in order to speed up project spending and compliance with ratio requirements.
