1.  TDHCA is requiring authorization for signature to complete the HB 1196 Agreement prior to the initiation of  all  contracts such as, the Community Service Block Grant YR 2008 and the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program YR 2008.
2. Discussion, consideration, and approval of the CPL Retail Energy, LP Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program Agreement for YR 2008.

1. HB 1196 Agreement is in response to Title 8 U.S.C. Section 1324a(a) "Unlawful Employment of Aliens", The 80th Legislature passed HB 1196 addressing the unlawful employment of unauthorized aliens. The state agency and subrecipients must assure compliance. TDHCA General Information Action Item 32008-11.11 Amendment 1 requires said action.

2. The Neigbor to Neighbor Program, a program initiated by CPL, LP to provide resources to CSA thru donoted money by their customers and then matched by CPL. It is intended to help needy people with energy crisis and shall be coordinated with the CEAP(LIHEAP) program.
