Requesting approval to enter into a sub-recipient agreement between the County of Hidalgo and Proyecto Azteca, a Non-Profit Development Organization (NDO) who will provide the emergency public services for the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) Emergency Services - Help for Colonias (E-SHC) Program.
BACKGROUND
The Hidalgo County Urban County Program (UCP) entered into contract with the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) on July 16, 2020. The goal of the program is to assist low-income colonia households whose income has been significantly reduced as a result of the COVID-19 public health restrictions. The UCP requests approval to enter into a sub-recipient agreement with Proyecto Azteca for the TDA Emergency Services–Help for Colonias program in the amount of $15,000.
