The State requires the Signature Authority Designation form to be signed by the County's Authorized Official, County Judge, for the Title IV-E Contract's new fiscal year. (October 1, 2020 - September 30, 2021)

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
The County matches 100% of all costs related to Title IV-E County Child Welfare Services. However, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services reimburses the county for part of the expenses when the county handles Title IV-E cases. Actual reimbursement is based on Eligible Population Rate (EPR) in effect for the county during the month in which expenses are incurred.
