DA-Tropical Texas Behavioral Health (TTBH-1281):
Approval to continue the payment of Supplemental Pay for the employee currently being paid by the Interlocal Agreement between the Tropical Texas Behavioral Health and the County of Hidalgo, by and through the Hidalgo County District Attorney's Office, pending extension/amendment agreement and funding for current fiscal year.
BACKGROUND
Grantor is extending the current grant's expiration date from September 30, 2020 to January 29, 2021. Grantor will also be providing additional funding for said period. An amended Interlocal Agreement is in process, however, due to the late notice, from the grantor, and pending data the agreement will not be in place in time for the current expiration date of September 30, 2020. Therefore, this item is requesting approval of continued payment of the supplemental pay until the new funding is received.

BUDGETARY IMPACT:
Pending 1st amended Interlocal Agreement for extension of the Assistive Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program grant funds. Extension period is from 10-1-2020 to 1-29-2021 (4 months). Original agreement is set to expire on 9-30-2020. An agenda item will be presented for CC approval of 1st amended ICA for extension, expected to be presented in the next CC agenda, CC 10-6-2020.
