“Subject to Compliance with HB 1295” the Urban County Program is requesting consideration and action to award and enter into a construction contract with The 5125 Company, the lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $287,457.00, utilizing UCP funds from Fiscal Years 33(2020) Weslaco Water & Sewer Improvement Funds.

The bid opening was held on March 31, 2021 and the lowest responsible bidder meeting all specifications and/or requirements was Sal Construction Management LLC, however, the second lowest bidder is an Urban County Program Section 3 approved contractor. The 5125 Company, accepted to match the lowest bid and therefore, is recommended by the City of Weslaco for the Water & Sewer Improvements project. Project consists of Water & Sewer Improvements within the City of Weslaco.  Please see attached letter of recommendation by the project engineer and contractor’s general liability insurance.  Project engineer firm is the City of Weslaco.
