Requesting approval of Change Order No.2 which results in a cost savings [C-20-294-02-23] with REIM Construction, Inc. for Hidalgo County Precinct No.3 - Mile 3 N Road Project (Tom Gill Road to FM 492 [Goodwin Road]) as agreed upon by all parties and subject to receipt of TXDOT letter of concurrence.

Change Order #2 adjusts Storm Drain Plan Quantities to include reinforced concrete pipes, inlets, and manholes due to plan errors. These items include seven different sizes of reinforced concrete pipes, three inlets, and three manholes. The errors were identified during construction and adjustments are needed to correct plan quantities.

This change order is a cost-saving to the County and will provide additional funds for other
improvements not included in the plans.

The total decrease of the change order: (-$28,911.25)
Contract Price with all approved change Orders: ($13,490,068.21)
