Requesting approval to re-allocate $75,000 from the FY 2004 Housing Plus, Inc. (HPI) CHDO Contract surplus balance to FY 2004 HOME Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program.

BACKGROUND

The FY 2004 contract between the UCP and HPI expired on September 22, 2007 with a remaining surplus balance of $75,000.  The UCP is requesting approval to re-allocate unused funds in the amount of $75,000 to the HOME Owner Occupied Rehabilitation Program in order to utilize these funds to assist qualified low-moderate income families within the County of Hidalgo.
