CAPTION

“Subject to Compliance with HB 1295”, the Urban County Program is requesting approval to purchase a fire fighting apparatus (fire engine) from Siddons Martin Emergency Group, LLC for the Precinct No. 3 (City of Alton -Fire Department) in the amount of $542,497.00.  UCP Fiscal Years 28-32 (2015-2019) Precinct No. 3 funds and City of Alton General Funds will be utilized.

BACKGROUND

Hidalgo County Purchasing Department opened bids on October 13, 2021.  One bid was received and reviewed. The lowest responsible bid was received from Siddons Martin Emergency Group, LLC.   The equipment will be utilized by the Alton Fire Department.  Delivery is expected by January 30, 2021.  HB 1295 and Certificate of Debarment is attached.
