Elections Dept - Voting Equipment Retrofit (1283):
1. Approval of resolution in support of the Reimbursement for Auditable Voting Machines (RAVM) grant awarded by the Texas Secretary of State with authority for Commissioners Court governing body to execute resolution.
2. Approval and acceptance of grant award from the Texas Secretary of State in relation to the Reimbursement for Auditable Voting Machines (RAVM) in the amount of $4,999,482.18 with authority for County Judge, as authorized official to execute grant award documents.
3. Approval of certification of revenues, as certified by the Co. Auditor, in relation to the Reimbursement for Auditable Voting Machines (RAVM) grant award in the amount of $4,999,482.18 and appropriation of same.
4. Approval to rescind order and emergency appropriation from the General Fund Unassigned Fund Balance under agenda item #82349 approved by Commissioners Court on September 21, 2021 in relation to retrofitting of voting equipment.

BACKGROUND
The purpose of the Reimbursement for Auditable Voting Machines (RAVM) grant award is for the county to get reimbursed from the Texas Secretary of State (SOS) for expenses associated with the modification/retrofitting of voting equipment in order to comply with SB 598.
