1. Requesting approval to award and issue a purchase order in the amount of $2,130,226.02 to the lowest and most responsible bidder meeting all requirements, Welch Excavation & Utility Company, Inc., for the "North Main Drain Expansion (Canton to 17 1/2), TDEM Project" (RFB HCDD1-22-066-02-01-ESZ) as recommended by Project Engineer Omar Anzaldua, PE, CFM, HCDD1. (Subject to final legal review and compliance with HB1295)
2. Pursuant to TXLGC 262.031 and in the interest of expediting a project's progress, requesting authority for Drainage District General Manager, Raul E. Sesin, P.E., CFM, to execute change orders that involve an increase or decrease in cost of $50,000.00 or LESS and in no event to exceed the Change Order's statutory limits. The original contract price may not be decreased by 18% or more without the consent of the contractor.
