BACKGROUND
The vendor formally known as Artel, Inc. has been bought out by Advanced Instruments, LLC. The Hidalgo County Urban County Program requested quotes for the purchase of PCS Pipette Calibration System and Software for the CDBG-CV Health Facility (Bio Safety Lab). It was determined that Artel, Inc. was the sole provider of the calibration system and software, therefore, a sole source declaration was requested from the Purchasing Department and request to purchase was approved by Hidalgo County Commissioners court on July 25, 2023. Request will be for company name change only, no financial changes will be included in the purchase order revision.
