Requesting acceptance and approval of Amendment No. 1 (C-19-500-02-26) between Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department and Texas Department of State Health Services to extend the Agreement for an additional one (1) year term, with authority for County Judge to sign all required documentation.
BACKGROUND
The purpose of the agreement is for Texas Department of State Health Services and Hidalgo County to provide clinical education for medical residents or fellows at the clinical facilities which provide essential public health services and will serve to provide clinical education for medical residents.
Texas DSHS graduate medical education residents will assist in offering medical services at the County-based clinics and benefit the community's growing medical services field.
