BACKGROUND
The property purchased by the County in January 2023 is only a portion (Unit C) of an original property that was subdivided into 3 units. The Appraisal District has subdivided the original property with the 2024 tax roll (property ID#1472200). As a result, the 2023 tax statement issued by the Tax Office is the tax levy for the entire property (property ID#288277). Unit C purchased by the County translates to 27% of the square footage of the entire property. The deed was signed on 01/06/23, but the proration was based on the date the deed was recorded as advised by the Appraisal District and the Tax Office (01/18/23).
