Discussion and consideration of approval to dispose of Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnership Grant and Emergency Solutions Grant financial records for Fiscal Years 2005-2013 as listed on Exhibit “A”.

BACKGROUND

The Urban County Program is requesting the disposition of the records listed on Exhibit “A”.  Federal regulations, 24 CFR 570.502 and 2 CFR 200.334, governing retention of records for HUD programs require a 3-year retention period. The records on Exhibit “A” have met the record retention period. The period start from the date of submission of the grantee’s CAPER in which the specific activity is reported from the last date of close-out.  Records include accounts payable, bank reconciliations, journal entries and other financial reports.
