CAPTION
1. Public Hearing to consider amending the 2003 HOME Work Plan ( $115,000 from FY 2003 CHDO funds) and the 2004 HOME Work Plan ($35,000 FY 2004 HOME – Home Buyer Program funds) to assist in the Construction of Multi Family Rental Units.
2. Requesting approval to amend the 2003 HOME/CHDO Contract between the Urban County Program and Community Hope Projects, Inc. from $200,000 to $85,000 and re-allocate the remaining balance in the amount of $115,00 to assist in the Construction of Multi Family Rental Units.
3. Requesting approval to re-allocate $35,000 from the 2004 HOME – Home Buyer Program funding balance to assist in the Construction of Multi Family Rental Units.
BACKGROUND
The Urban County Program is requesting an amendment of the FY 2003 Contract with the Community Hope Projects, Inc. and the re-allocation of HOME – Home Buyer Assistance Program funds in order to utilize a total of $150,000 to assist in the Construction of Multi Family Rental Units within the County of Hidalgo.
