NOTICE is hereby given in accordance with Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, that a SPECIAL MEETING of the Drainage District #1 Board of Directors will be held in the Commissioners' Courtroom of the Administration Building, Edinburg, Hidalgo County, Texas. Discussion and possible action relating to the following business will be transacted:

Requesting approval to purchase the following through the District's membership with BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Contract # 281-07 (Henna Chevrolet):

Approval of Change Order #1 as it relates to Rehabilitation of Weirs Phase I.

A. Discussion and action on request by property owners of various tracts out of Lot 44-7, West Addition to Sharyland Subdivision AKA Colonia Trevino through The Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid to waive penalties and interest of delinquent property taxes.

Requesting approval of "Pool" of pre-qualified firms submitting Statements of Qualifications for ranking on an "As Needed Basis" per project by the Hidalgo County Drainage District No.1 for projects requiring said services as set forth in the requirements stated in the District's Request for Qualifications packet for the following Professional Services:

Approval to submit letters of support to Senate an House Committee members as it relates to appropriation of funds for the Raymondville Drain and other projects.

Recognition of (2) Hidalgo County Drainage District #1 employees, Roberto Perez and Jose Morin as recipients of the Tx Department of Public Safety Director's Award.
